As part of my journey, I’ve come to understand and see from personal experience, the profound effects that each moment of interaction have on our children. I understand how brain science and mindfulness allow us to respond instead of react – creating more intentional connections with our loved ones, especially our children.
When we meet what’s happening in the present moment with intention and awarenessit’s so much easier to respond in ways that are compassionate and beneficial for ourselves and others.
I’ve found these simple practices of mindfulness truly help create more calm and inner- resilience, contributing to the joy and preciousness of each moment we have with our children. Modeling these practices and behaviors in our daily interactions with our children is priceless.
Over the years I’ve found it truly inspiring to continue to learn and grow and share these important practices with adults and children.
I feel so excited and motivated to share this information and support because I’ve seen how much mindfulness has changed and supported healthier relationships with our now young adult children. I know it’s true for myself and I’ve heard over and over from parents, teachers, and children alike – that they wished they would have known about these practices sooner!
